Education and professional training in acoustics and noise
The Institute of Acoustics offers a range of courses for those involved in architectural and building acoustics and in the management, regulation and control of noise and vibration in the workplace and in the environment.

The courses are delivered at accredited Centres in Universities, Colleges and similar establishments throughout the UK. A distance learning option is offered for the Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Courses and Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
• Certificate of Competence in Workplace Noise Risk Assessment (CCWPNRA)
• Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement (CCENM)
• Certificate in the Management of Occupational Exposure to Hand Arm Vibration (CMOEHAV)

Professional Development
Members are encouraged to regularly update their skills and knowledge as part of their continual professional development (CPD).
