The first part of this workshop will be held at the Institute of Acoustics offices in Silbury Boulevard a short walk from Jurys Inn, lunch and the afternoon session will be held at Jurys Inn. This is so those delegates who can't travel will be able to use the IOAs video conference facility.

 

The BSi Committee for Transport Noise is considering developing a new British Standard defining methods for Calculating Sound Levels Outdoors.  It is intended for use in Road and Rail modelling and for the Propagation of ground-sources.  This workshop will help define the scope of the proposed standard and will appeal to users of the existing CRTN and CRN methodologies.
