The draft of this revised Standard is due to be released for public consultation on 1 March 2014, with comments due by late April. Central Branch is keen to promote consideration of this draft and provide responses from a wide range of practitioners that can inform the final version of the Standard which is expected to have a significant impact on how sound is assessed over the coming years.
For those wishing to review the draft version of BS 4142 before the Central branch meeting it is accessible on the BSI website Draft Review Syste at : http://drafts.bsigroup.com It only takes a minute or two to register for free and it gives access to all standards that are currently available for consultation, including BS 4142.
