SOUND SENSING IN SMART CITIES 2

This event, organised by the Measurement and Instrumentation Group, will review the current state of acoustic instrumentation and measurement within ‘Smart Cities’. The event will look at recent developments in instrumentation for distributed and long term noise monitoring, the development of appropriate analytics for handling large datasets and example case studies including those where acoustic data is combined with other measurands.

Closest rail station is Farringdon, served by the underground a nd mainline rail services. It is a 25 minute walk from both Kings Cross and Liverpool Street. 
 
Walking from Farrington : Exit Farrington Station on Turnmill Street, turn left, walk to the junction with Clerkenwell Road, turn right and cross the road, take first left, walk along and past The Crown Tavern on Clerkenwell Close, walk on until you reach the junction with St James's Church garden and Sekforde Street, turn left, the venue entrance is at the junction of Sekforde Street and St James's walk.
 
PARKING
Sekforde Street is a one-way street and access is from Clerkenwell Road. There is limited pay and dispay parking in Sekforde Strete, which is within the Congetion Charge Zone
