The STEM Committee of the IOA are holding a webinar on the latest information on STEM on Thursday 18 May 2023 at 12 noon via Zoom.
 
The webinar is aimed at all interested in STEM, and will cover:
  1. Why STEM Outreach is important.
  2. How to get started/become a STEM Ambassador.
  3. The latest information on the School Competition and Virtual Work Experience.
  4. Handouts and materials that can be used at events.
  5. Future plans and how you can help.
  6. An update on Apprenticeships.
  7. Some guidance on EDI.
  8. Time for discussion about materials.
The webinar speakers will be David Waddington, Angela Lamacraft, Matt Muirhead, Richard Grove and Vicky Wills
 
If there is anything that you are particularly keen to find out about, please email us in advance at STEM@ioa.org.uk, otherwise there will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar.
