Changes introduced in ISO 9613-2:2024, why, how and what effect?

Published in 2024 the second version of International Standard ISO 9613-2 revised and replaced the first version from 1996, and introduced fifteen main changes compared to the first version from 1996. The main changes to the methodology have been introduced to either address known issues with the original methodology, or to support the widened scope to include higher sources, such as wind turbines. This presentation aims to provide an overview of the changes to the standard, why they were introduced, and how they may change the calculated results.
