Overcoming architectural challenges for acoustic box in box systems
Wednesday 20 October 2021
4:30pm for 5:00pm start
Mercure Hotel Winchester, Paternoster Row, Winchester SO23 9LQ

After the summer break, the Southern Branch of the IOA invites you to join us for a presentation on the architectural challenges of box-in-box constructions. The talk will be given by Mason UK and will be followed by a Q&A.

“Incorporating floating floors, isolated walls and suspended ceilings within a building envelope can cause architectural challenges. We aim to share our experience with these box-in-box systems from design to construction and explore what steps can be taken to ensure an isolation project becomes a success.”

The event is free to members of the IOA, as well as to students and the public. As numbers are limited, to register for this event, please go to the registration page at:

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/overcoming-architectural-challenges-for-acoustic-box-in-box-systems-tickets-184597133997

Registration will close 24 hours before the event. Please note this meeting will not be recorded.

CPD certification will be offered for attendance.

After the event, food and drinks will be offered at the nearby Bishop on the Bridge, courtesy of Mason UK, to celebrate the return of in-person events.
