ACOUSTICS 2023

 

The IOA Early Careers Group have arranged a Buddy Scheme for Acoustics 2023.  

The scheme is to enable those who are attending the conference for the first time or who may not know many others attending (“buddies”) to have a friendly point of contact (“mentors”) throughout the conference.  

 

Join us on SUNDAY 15 OCTOBER 2023 for an ECG Social ahead of the Acoustics 2023 conference

Meet fellow ECG members at The Bishop on the Bridge pub in Winchester from 5-7pm

Getzner will provide nibbles and 2x drinks tokens per person.

This event is open to Early Careers Group Members and Buddies only.

Space is limited so registration is essential.

By Road

There is a range of parking in Winchester including the four Park and Ride sites. The closest to the Guildhall are Colebrook Street (Short Stay), Chesil Street (Long Stay), St Catherine’s Park and Ride and Barfield Park and Ride. Full information on car parks and charges can be found here.

 

London Waterloo (1 hour),Southampton Airport Parkway (15 minutes) and Bournemouth (45 minutes). Winchester Station is approximately a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride.

 

Southampton International, Bournemouth International, Heathrow and Gatwick Airports all have excellent rail and coach links to Winchester.
