Please join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Acoustics. This FREE event is hosted by Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) and is sponsored by the IOA and Pliteq UK Limited. The event will start with an informal lunch, followed by presentations, a hands-on workshop, and a tour of the BE-ST factory. Please note that online attendance will be limited to the 13:00-15:00 sessions.

Getting there

Located 15 miles south-east of Glasgow on the A725, BE-ST is well-connected in Scotland's central belt by the motorway network – M74, M8 and M77 - and is well served by both bus and rail services.

Train: Glasgow Central to Blantyre or Hamilton West

Bus: First Bus service 263 operates from Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station to High Blantyre.

Parking: Free parking available on site.

Note: electric vehicle charging is not yet available on site while we await an infrastructure upgrade.
