20-23 June 2022, Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour The Institute of Acoustics has the great pleasure to announce it is holding the International Conference on Underwater Acoustics 2022, 20-23 June 2022 in Southampton, UK. Following on from our ICUA2020 virtual conference, we are very much looking forward to holding an in-person conference this time. The conference will have a series of oral sessions covering a broad spectrum of international underwater acoustic research. We will have two plenary sessions.

Claus Elberling was presented with the medal for many years of outstanding contributions to audiology within hearing aid research and development and as a pioneer in auditory electrophysiology by Professor Barry Gibbs, President of the Institute of Acoustics.

This meeting is aimed at young consultants, those new to the profession and students who are considering a career in acoustics. The subject matter will cover a wide range of day to day issues that any consultant will need to address. All speakers are practising consultants and their combined wealth of knowledge of the industry is extensive.
