Session overview This presentation will look at how live BIM data can be used to bring acoustic requirements and feedback directly into the Revit model.  The presenter will cover the workflow behind it, then demonstrate Acouso-PLAN in a live project: reading room and adjacency information from the model, mapping acoustic requirements, and showing acoustic mark-ups and compliance feedback directly on the plan.

Presenter:  Joshua Winning is the founder of Acouso, an acoustic engineering software company that helps project teams assess acoustic performance directly in Autodesk Revit, without exports, rebuilt geometry, or disconnected workflows. Joshua holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Finance from the University of Queensland and was a New Colombo Plan Scholar, undertaking advanced engineering study in Japan. His background spans acoustic engineering, software development and asset management, including experience at Stantec and Aurecon. He founded Acouso to make acoustics faster, more accessible, and better integrated into the design process.
