This presentation will showcase and discuss the latest European Environment Agency report, Environmental Noise in Europe 2025, which highlights the urgent need for stronger action to reduce environmental noise and its impacts on human health, the environment, and the economy.
 

Eulalia Peris is an environmental noise expert at the European Environment Agency (EEA) with over 15 years of experience. She manages noise data within the European Environment Information and Observation Network (EIONET), involving contributions from 32 countries. She is the lead author of the EEA’s Environmental Noise in Europe reports (2020 and 2025), providing comprehensive assessments of noise pollution and its impacts on health and the environment. Her work bridges science and policy, focusing on health impacts and supporting noise-related policies. Eulalia holds a PhD in Acoustics from the University of Salford and has worked in research and public health roles.
