Call for Presentations Understanding how people experience sound is central to good acoustic design. Research in subjective acoustics highlights how people perceive and are affected by sound in diverse ways, not only through measurable acoustic parameters but also through the individual, social, and contextual factors that shape our auditory experiences. This event aims to explore how acoustic environments can better support comfort, wellbeing, and inclusivity. The day will bring together professionals and researchers to share insights on how technical design decisions influence human perception and experience of sound and vice versa.
The organising committee invites presentations on topics including, but not limited to: •Designing for inclusivity and diversity •Human-centric design •Psychoacoustics •Soundscapes •Non-acoustic factors influencing perception and sense of wellbeing •Emerging technologies.
