The consultation is open until November 27th.

The Welsh Government are consulting on changes to building regulations, which cover the consideration of ventilation and overheating. The review of the Building Regulations Part L:2025 (conservation of fuel and power), includes changes to Part F (Ventilation) - which covers noise from ventilation equipment and open windows, and Part O (overheating), which covers ventilation and external noise impacts. Notable in updates to Part O are proposals that regulations cover loft conversions and new windows and doors in flats.
