Southern Branch Meeting Wind-induced creaking noise in tall buildings

The Southern Branch invites you to a presentation of the wind-induced creaking noise in tall buildings by Alec Korchev of Clarke Saunders Associates.

Alec Korchev will discuss the progress of his research into the phenomenon. This will include an exploration into the mechanism causing the sound, what tools we have to assess the noise, and what can be done about it.

As always, the event is free to members of the IoA, as well as to students and the public. CPD certification will be offered for attendance, wait for the QR code that will be shown/shared at the end of the presentation. The event will be recorded but not the Q&A.
