The Chartered Institute for Environmental Health (CIEH) is developing a new insights report analysing the noise complaint data they published last month. The report covered statistics about residential noise complaints made to councils in England and Wales covering October 2024 to September 2025. Following the data launch and a members’ insights webinar, CIEH are now inviting written evidence to help shape this work. Submissions are welcome from CIEH members working in noise and nuisance and non-member stakeholders with relevant expertise. They want to hear from anyone who has research, policy or government documents, case studies, or useful links related to noise complaints and regulation. Evidence will support wider work on noise and nuisance.
Written submissions of no more than 2000 words, (including name, organisation, and role) in either PDF or Word format, should be sent to policy@cieh.org by 30 April 2026.
