The CIEH has recently re-launched the CIEH Noise Survey for 2019.
The data from the noise survey has previously been adopted into the Public Health Outcomes framework, administered by PHE, which establishes an important link between noise and health outcomes. In order for the noise public health indicator to be established this year, it is important to get a high survey response rate from local authorities.
The deadline for submissions is 31 July which may be extended.
Complete the CIEH Noise Survey by 31 July 2019.
In England and Wales, the CIEH Noise Survey provides the only source of information on the vital contribution made by environmental health professionals working to resolve noise complaints.
This year, the survey has been relaunched in a new format to make it easier and quicker for local authorities to complete. Providing some simple data will help CIEH to engage with key government departments to ensure that the links between noise and public health form part of national policy decisions.
The results will be published later this year in an anonymised aggregated form. Data from the survey will also be adopted into the Public Health Outcomes Framework which establishes an important link between noise and health outcomes.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the CIEH policy team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
