Abstract
The talk will present a summary of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) regulations to provide a broad understanding to acousticians on their role within the production of Noise and Vibration Environmental Statement chapters. The presentation will be based on Trium’s experience in the property development and their interpretation of the IEMA/IOA Noise Impact Assessment Guidelines. It will provide a general understanding of the role of acoustics (noise and vibration) and what is expected of them from other professionals working on the EIA. There will also be some discussion on the likely changes expected with the introduction of Environmental Outcomes Reports (EOR).

Philip has been practicing acoustic consultancy since 2006 with work that has taken him across the world and back.
