BESS and Solar Consultation

The IOA & ANC have produced a draft of “A good practice guide to the assessment and rating of noise from battery energy storage systems and solar farms” which is now out for consultation (https://www.ioa.org.uk/news/draft-gpg-noise-from-battery-ess-solar-farms-ioa-anc).

In this lunchtime session, Richard Perkins, chair of the Renewable Energy Advisory Group will give a run through of the proposed new guidance, and highlight areas where feedback is sought from the consultees.
