Clarke Saunders Acoustics is an independent consultancy with over 30 years of experience delivering phenomenal engineering solutions for noise and vibration challenges. 

 

We are currently seeking a motivated Consultant-grade Acoustician to join our expanding team at our creative hub in The Ministry, Borough Road (SE1)

.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

As a Consultant you will bridge the gap between science and art, providing high-quality, functional advice across diverse projects.  Core responsibilities include:

 

· Acoustic Surveys & Analysis: Planning and undertaking site surveys, analyzing data, and performing complex acoustic calculations.

· Technical Reporting: Producing clear, pragmatic reports and recommendations for clients in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

· Project Management: Managing project lifecycles from initial proposal to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

· Client Liaison: Presenting expert advice to clients and collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams.

· Innovation: Using advanced modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, ODEON) to predict noise impacts and design mitigation strategies.

 

Who You Are

 

· Qualified: You hold a degree in Acoustics or a related field (ISVR, Salford, etc.) or the IOA Diploma.

· Professional: You are a member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) at an appropriate level (AMIOA or MIOA).

· Experienced: You have proven experience in acoustic consultancy, including site work and technical reporting.

· Technical: You are proficient with digital tools such as noise modelling software, and potentially GIS or Python.

· Personable: A team player with excellent communication skills and a "can-do / have done" attitude.
