Senior / Principal Acoustic Consultant

Location: London (office-based/hybrid, with project-based travel)

KP Acoustics Group is a global acoustics consultancy providing independent noise and vibration services across a wide range of sectors. Our work spans four core areas: Consultancy, Monitoring, Research, and Training. We also develop advanced acoustic monitoring technology, including our eNView™ platform.

Our consultancy team delivers projects ranging from planning assessments to large-scale developments across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. We are recognised for providing clear, robust, and practical advice trusted by clients, design teams, and local authorities.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join London team.

The role is suited to consultants with a strong background in acoustic consultancy and who are capable of managing a diverse project portfolio across multiple sectors, supporting clients from early planning through to project completion. Experience in team leadership and mentoring is highly desirable.

Key requirements:

• UK-based with Right to Work in the UK.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and/or IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy.
• Experience across a range of sectors, particularly in building acoustics (experience in environmental acoustics is beneficial).
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, British Standards, and planning guidance.
• Confident communication with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines in a hybrid environment.
• Ability to manage and mentor other team members.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
