New draft guidance launched on managing noise from dog kennels has been launched by the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC), with input from IOA and CIEH representatives. The guidance aims to create a consistent national approach to issues arising at premises including boarding kennels, doggy day care, dog training/agility facilities, animla resuce centres and hunt kennels. It covers dogs barking, monitoring methods, mitigation options, and preparing noise management plans — helping protect noise sensitive places like homes, schools, hospitals and places of worship.
