Noise from dog kennels - comment invited

New draft guidance launched on managing noise from dog kennels has been launched by the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC), with input from IOA and CIEH representatives. The guidance aims to create a consistent national approach to issues arising at premises including boarding kennels, doggy day care, dog training/agility facilities, animla resuce centres and hunt kennels.  It covers dogs barking, monitoring methods, mitigation options, and preparing noise management plans — helping protect noise sensitive places like homes, schools, hospitals and places of worship. The draft is now open for public consultation until 31st May. Find out more and how to respond

Also, there is an opportunity to find learn from a case study on nuisance at dog kennels with our Midlands Branch on April 29th.
